Committed partner company to professional sports:
Another top athlete starts at the KIPP Group as a management trainee

The successful national and international trampolinist Tim-Oliver Geßwein, professional athlete in the German Gymnastics Federation's national squad, uses the opportunity to combine sport and career at the KIPP Group.

The KIPP Group, a specialist in standard elements and automation, is proud to welcome another top athlete to the KIPP team. The corporate group has been a partner company of top-level sport and sponsor of young Olympic athletes for almost a year now. As a training organisation and employer, it supports young athletes in the challenge of combining competitive sport and a career.

The latest signing is German trampoline vice-champion Tim-Oliver Geßwein from the national squad of the German Gymnastics Federation. This professional athlete represents trampolining at the highest national and international level and is a member of the Stuttgart Olympic Training Centre. After successfully completing his Master's degree in mechanical engineering, he is now undertaking a two-year management trainee programme at the KIPP Group to start his professional life. At the same time, he is competing in national and international competitions, for which he trains 25 hours a week. As part of his A-trainer licence, he is also committed to passing on his sporting experience to younger trampolinists.

As his new employer, the KIPP Group will support him in this. Karl-Josef Rebmann, Member of the Executive Board, and Anja Müller, Human Resources Manager, are convinced that the entire region will benefit in many ways from the combined commitment of the professional athlete and the company. The first "test" was the traditional City District Cup Indoor Tournament in Horb. Tim-Oliver Geßwein was not the only one to be seen there demonstrating his sport, Katharina Menz from the national squad of the German Judo Federation, another management trainee at KIPP, was also present. The KIPP Group and the Olympic Training Centre organised the supporting programme for the tournament week, which featured the world's elite from the sports of trampoline, judo, wrestling and fencing. In the future, Tim-Oliver Geßwein and Katharina Menz will also attend sports lessons at regional schools and inspire others with their sporting skills at various major events.

Katharina Menz can definitely confirm that the compatibility of top-class sport and professional life works at KIPP. What she particularly appreciates about her employer is the flexibility with regard to sporting appointments and the family environment - advantages from which Tim-Oliver Geßwein will also benefit in future. And who knows, maybe the KIPP team can look forward to an Olympic participant in the near future because, when asked about the major goal of his sporting career, the trampolinist replied: "Participating in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris - that would be my biggest dream come true."
